Description Tier 1 IT Support SpecialistDo you thrive in a fast-paced environment troubleshooting technical issues? Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service? If so, we want to hear from you!We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Tier 1 IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical difficulties, providing prompt and efficient resolutions.Responsibilities: Provide technical support to users in a Windows environment, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. Assist users with mobile device setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. Onboard new users by setting up their accounts, email access, and network permissions. Offboard departing users by disabling accounts, collecting equipment, and ensuring data security. Resolve common printer issues, such as connectivity problems and print quality concerns. Reset user passwords following established security protocols. Document all interactions and support tickets thoroughly and accurately. Maintain a positive and detail oriented demeanor while effectively communicating with users of all technical backgrounds. Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 support when necessary.Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support role or related field. A strong understanding of Windows operating systems. Working knowledge of mobile device operating systems (iOS and/or Android) a plus. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to user satisfaction. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
