Job Title: DevOps Engineer Duration: Long Term Location: Plano, TX Must have good experience with Kubernetes, cloud and terraform Job Description: Responsibilities:
- Triaging and troubleshooting production issues and blameless postmortems for incidents.
- Researching and implementing ways to automate the management of our infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with multiple teams such as engineering, datacenter, vendor etc.
- Support development and production support teams across our growing development, UAT, and production environments.
- Building out uptime, latency, and error and capacity monitoring for the stack.
- Taking part in on-call rotation for support.
- Developing and maintaining the "Infrastructure as Code".
- Helping to ensure the maximum productivity and effectiveness of the entire SDLC process.
- Innovating with new technologies and existing strategic platforms to deliver quality products.
- Experience with container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes, Docker
- Understand and assist in implementing monitoring in the cloud and of the PaaS/IaaS.
- Strong Experience with designing and deploying AWS Services like Elastic Compute (EC2), IAM , S3, EBS, EFS, RDS,VPC, API Gateway etc.
- Strong understanding of IT Risk and IS security fundamentals in the cloud.
- Required Experience on Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch and Monitoring tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum fundamentals.
- Proficiency in modern software architecture using CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, containers, and other DevOps techniques.
- Development experience using RESTful APIs, horizontal scalability, micro services, high availability principles.
- Experience working with container deployment and orchestration technologies at scale with strong knowledge of the fundamentals
- Experience with CI tools like GitLab CI and Jenkins
- Experience supporting compliance and working with information security teams.
- Experience in automating, orchestrating and running large scale IaaS systems are a plus.
