Description We are in the retail industry, located in Irving, Texas, and we are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer. This role involves managing capacity across cloud resource pools, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our cloud products, and designing and implementing CI/CD pipeline elements. The successful candidate will also automate infrastructure deployment, maintain CI/CD pipelines for our applications, and collaborate with various teams to address infrastructure issues.Responsibilities: Manage capacity across public and private cloud resource pools Enhance the reliability, availability, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness of our cloud products Design and implement CI/CD pipeline elements for automated compilation, assembly, and testing of components Develop infrastructure solutions on GCP that are scalable, secure, and highly available Automate infrastructure deployment and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our applications Monitor and troubleshoot system and application issues to ensure high availability and reliability Collaborate with development teams to identify and address infrastructure issues Work closely with security teams to ensure infrastructure compliance with company policies and industry standards Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve infrastructure efficiency and performance. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role, preferably in the retail industry Proficiency in Configuration Management Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) methodologies and tools Ability to create and manage Dashboards for various functions and needs Expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code service Proficiency in using Jenkins for automated deployment Strong knowledge of DevOps Engineering practices and principles Proficiency in SQL Stored Procedures for managing and manipulating data Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred Strong understanding of software development life cycle models Proven track record of managing and deploying automation in production environments.
