DevSecOps Engineer

Position Description CGI Federal is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support Black Label DevSecOps Platform, an infrastructure-agnostic platform, to support the Department of Defense's (DoD) vast infrastructure options, including - Government clouds, on premise, disconnected, and classified environments. CGI will provide Agile frameworks such as Kanban and Scrum as needed and will ensure all product backlog are properly defined and sized. Black Label is deploying DevSecOps Platform (DSOP) in multiple gov cloud environments from Unclassified to Top Secret, including Special Access Programs; with the intent to make these hybrid cloud solutions viable for OCO development.The candidate for this position will directly support building the DevSecOps platform.

Your future duties and responsibilities You will plan, design, implement, deliver and support the various platforms for production and non-production environments.• We would want you to provide direction during various operations such as deployment and general application operations.• By collaborating with developers you will establish and ensure environments meet requirements and conform to best practices Manage code releases.• Your experience working on delivering solutions for globally distributed, large scale Agile software development teams will be leveraged.• You will work with advanced Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices including software configuration management, test automation, version control and provisioning/deployment tools.• You will work with Cloud based infrastructures and Cloud platform as a service (PaaS) on which developers can build, deploy, run and scale applications.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role• Bachelors and ten (10) years or more experience;• CNCF-Kubernetes on Cloud or On-Prem, understanding of IaC (Infrastructure as Code)• Experience in using Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes providing DevSecOps implementation using Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Istio/service mesh, Ansible and ArgoCD in an AWS or Azure Cloud• Experience with developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications• Working knowledge of source version control, build/release tools and methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines• Working knowledge of Software Build process• A DevSecOps Engineer should have a passion for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for a large enterprise that consists of hundreds of applications• Possess a strong "security first" mindset• Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship is required with a TS/SCI clearance.
