We are recruiting for multiple DevSecOps Engineers to support Software Systems Engineering for an enterprise-wide DoD effort supporting hundreds of applications. This work requires expertise with developing and managing CI/CD pipelines and a security-focused approach. Qualified candidates will have experience working in a DoD environment developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications and hardening containers.

Location Note: All work is on-site in San Antonio; relocation assistance will be considered

Duties and responsibilities include:

Fill a generalist role on a DevSecOps team developing and managing CI/CD pipelines for an Air Force initiative supporting a platform level-up impacting hundreds of applications across the enterprise
Develop and maintain required automation and tooling to quickly deploy and manage applications
Propose and implement solutions working with blended government and contractor teams supporting products and platforms
Follow commercial best practices in Agile and DevSecOps (CI/CD) software development
Maintain a security-first mindset

Qualifications include:

U.S. citizenship
Current TS/SCI security clearance
Currently in San Antonio area or able to relocate to San Antonio no later than spring 2021
Software Engineering experience using your blended IT skill set supporting software and systems administration in a DoD environment
Experienced with DevSecOps implementation using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools
Experienced in developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications
Experience with automation and tooling to quickly deploy and manage applications
Experience working with source version control
Experience working with build/release tools and methodologies
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Software Build Process and/or Build Automation

Education and Experience Requirements:

Senior Software Systems Engineer Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience; master's with 3+ years of related experience; PhD with 0 years of related experience.
Principal Software Systems Engineer Bachelor's degree with 9+ years or more experience; master's with 7+ years of related experience; PhD or JD with 4+ years of related experience.
Senior Principal Software Systems Engineer Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of related experience; master's with 12+ years of related experience; PhD or JD with 9+ years of related experience.
