As the Digital Product Manager,you will:
  • Develop product plans and product improvements to support market needs and establish specifications for assigned mechanical products
  • Develop product roadmaps, and a longer-term vision for a technology platform, product trends, pricing, margin contribution and commercialization
  • Gain knowledge and awareness of competitive products and strategies for use in defining new products and improvements.
  • Assist in providing relevant tools to promote products & solutions to the sales channel (application guides, competitive guides, marcom, digital experience tools, etc.)
  • Coordinate preparation of new product or product modification plans. Provide industry-level marketing and technical feedback to the product development team as required.
  • Provide technical & consultative support on digital transformation pursuits.
  • Support cost reductions for products in portfolio to improve profitability.
  • Identify product approvals required for portfolio in various global regions. Coordinate with engineering and quality to gain and maintain these approvals to maintain ability to sell into various markets.
  • Drive operations initiatives related to assigned products
  • Develop monthly demand forecasts for individual products to support the Sales & Operations Planning process.
  • Monitor product lead times and coordinate with operations and supply chain teams to manage risks to delivery. Support designing supply chain strategies as necessary.
  • Coordinate with site operations teams to provide analysis, scope, and justification of any Perfect Execution projects and provide support during project execution.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • 1 year of mechanical, electrical industrial sales or product marketing or relevant experience
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering or relevant industry experience
  • Knowledge of industrial network technologies and IIoT connected devices related to data acquisition, transmission, storage, security, and device control.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.Presentation skills will be necessary to present portfolio initiatives to leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills necessary to gain necessary product insight for operations, marketing, and sales initiatives.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • 2-3 years of experience in engineering, sales, or marketing
  • MBA
  • Familiarity with engineered solutions, wireless technology & industrial protocols
  • Experience with renewables (RNG/ Biomethane, H2 value chain)
  • Strong knowledge of company products and customer applications
