We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated UI Developer capable of building high-quality software and tooling. You’ll be developing tools to support the design and development of next-generation multimedia systems in Client and their Affiliate vehicles. DriveLink is looking for someone results-driven, deeply innovative, and interested in working on a team dedicated to delighting and improving the experience of all Client Customers. Responsibilities:- Writing full-stack software and tooling, ensuring code is well-tested and performant.
- Developing tools and libraries that will enable rapid and scalable development in the future.
- Working daily with Product Owners and Managing Engineers to facilitate effective feature development.
- Collaborating regularly with peers to review code.
- Feature Discovery. All software engineers are looked toward adding a technical perspective to the design discovery process.
- Meet with the product team regularly to ensure requirements are executed properly & on time.
- Strong hands-on coding skills with a focus on full-stack web application development
- 5+ years of experience working on production-level applications in a web environment
- Experience writing documented consumable client-facing APIs
- Experience deploying and building applications using Cloud technologies
- Experience orchestrating config-driven deployments using modern CI/CD tooling
- Proficient in source-control practices such as Git
- Proficient in the command line
- Focus on writing prudent and meaningful tests, catered to the environment for which the application will run
- Experience utilizing design tools like Figma or Sketch to effectively translate high-level designs to feature requirements
- Experience architecting data schemas and working with relational databases, such as Postgres
- Experience orchestrating config-driven deployments with Docker & Kubernetes
- Experience in client-side and server-side performance enhancements, such as service workers, PWAs
