Direct Mail Machine Operator

We have an immediate full time opening for a high speed Inkjet/Inserter operator. Digital printing experience is a plus.

Work Hours: 8am -5pm Shift with opportunity for Overtime.

Pay is commensurate with experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Must maintain exemplary attendance.

Ability to work overtime when needed to meet deadlines.

Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment, and in addition, diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting the quality and timeliness of the service or product or function. Understand machine calibration, profiling and how to make adjustments.

Check files for errors or issues missed by Prep Dept.

Check quality and verifying the fold is correct and perfect.

Work in tandem with the Production Supervisor to schedule jobs daily for the department, ensuring projects are expedited correctly – physical job tickets and database/calendars.

Maintain optimum quality and production speed, completing required jobs in an efficient, safe, and cost-effective manner by maintaining proper control and balance of equipment and workflow.

Simultaneous management of multiple projects.

Periodic Machine Maintenance and Cleaning – daily, weekly, monthly.
