The Director is responsible and accountable for client relationships, business opportunity development, service delivery and development of personal expertise.Your future duties and responsibilities: Develop strong relationships with clients with a view to bring clients additional CGI services to help them achieve their goals Support client relationship and business development activities Promote visibility of CGI expertise with local clients Deliver client engagements Contribute to high level of quality and client satisfaction and on-time/budget delivery Develop high level of expertise in your field Participate in and coordinate development of statements of work Participate in and coordinate financial modeling for projects (SSDMs) Participate in and coordinate DPSC completions Participate in and coordinate STEP reviews for projectsRequired qualifications to be successful in this role: Independent thinker with experience both managing a blended team and executing on deliverables in parallel.o Candidate should have experience working in an agile, product development teamo Candidate should be able to advise on best practices around integrating and hardening a data environment to support a Business Intelligence use case. Should be able to provide level of effort and completion estimates for integrating, onboarding, restructuring, and refactoring data into a cloud-hosted environment to support the development of reports.o Candidate will be responsible for optimizing data feeds and simplifying connections to a BI tool.o Candidate should be able to advise on workarounds to avoid delay in work if the team becomes dependent on other teams to onboard data. Willing to work through ambiguity and iterate through designs to provide value quickly while working towards a long-term supportable solution. Candidate should have experience using version control software for both source queries and BI workbooks. Candidate should have the ability to work with report and visualization developers to define data requirements in terms of attribution, volume, frequency, and structure Be independent, self-starting, and be able to stay calm under the pressures of multiple deadlines Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels Proven record of creating and maintaining business partnerships and relationships Results oriented business leader with solid understanding of budgets, forecasting, planning, P&Ls, and complex pricing models Requires knowledge of MDM, Data Quality tools, Workflow, Data Movement, Data Storage, and Data VisualizationDesired Qualifications: Knowledge of Risk and Issue Management strategies Focus on continuous improvement for client deliveryCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
