Job Title: Director of Data ManagementFull Time Position/Onsite Role in Irving, TXSalary Range: $150k Per Annum to $175k PAThis is an on-site position.The Director of Data Management will be responsible for the presentation of decision based financial and data models for various company verticals. This person will lead a team of analysts tasked with assisting internal and external clients to envision, code, design, and deploy data engineering workloads. The Director will implement models and processes for large-scale datasets used for descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive purposes. Other duties include but are not limited to:

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Understand company’s business intelligence needs, identify the required scope and resources needed to effect required solution and outcomes, and manage the process of contracting for the resulting engagements.
  • Consume data from all available data sources including but not limited to: Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, Excel, Power BI Datasets, Parquet Files, and CSV files.
  • Support all data sources on all new platforms including debugging and troubleshooting data related issues.
  • Responsible for Azure Synapse Analytics pipelines and Azure Data Bricks Notebooks
  • Designs complex data intensive formatted reports utilizing various functions in Power BI
  • Implementation of data models for data reporting using code via SQL/Python
  • Oversees the planning and execution of projects and initiatives to produce reports, dashboards, alerts, and data applications.
  • Ensures data cloud platform and tools and technologies are provisioned to enable the team to produce impactful reports, dashboards and other forms of analytics and data products.
  • Works closely with the leadership team and operational leaders across the company to understand needs and requirements, prioritize and assigns resources to deliver on such requirements.
  • Understand how emerging digital technologies can enable new business models and transform existing ones. Help the organization leverage Microsoft Cloud platforms to transform their organizations through improved insight and productivity.
  • Support the Accounting team with the implementation and reporting of Oracle NetSuite. QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree or graduate degree and 8-10 years of related work experience degree with an emphasis in Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business.
  • Experience with Azure Data Services such as Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data for MySQL, or Azure Database for MariaDB is required.
  • Data Visualization experience (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience managing design and development in Microsoft SQL Server Version 2016 and above, SQL Server database administration, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI Reporting Services, and Power BI Services. Experience coding T-SQL scripts. Development experience with SQL Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, and Triggers.
  • Scripting languages such as Python, R, or Spark SQL
  • Design and implementation of financial data models
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus
  • Experience with relational data models, dimensional data models, and star schema.
  • Experience with Celigo Integrator for NetSuite a plus.
