We are looking for a Director of Information Technology for our client. This position can be based in Austin, Texas or San Francisco, California.
What You Will Do:- Lead development and implement processes for IT
- Develop and implement business continuity protocols
- Establish efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure.
- Negotiate and solidify outsourced support agreements and manage vendors
- Identify opportunities where technology can be implemented to streamline operational efficiency
- Coordinate multisite IT systems via enterprise resource planning; roll out new systems as needed, and ensure proper update mechanisms are in place
- Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information and mitigate risk
- Understand basic legal considerations for IT security and facilitates IT security audits/investigations.
- Issue company laptops/workstations/mobile devices with correct security and software installations
- Create and establish internal tracking systems and keep inventory of technology assets and software licenses.
- 10+ years of substantial experience leading or managing an IT department, ideally in the professional services industry.
- Experience recruiting and successfully managing a team.
- Intellectually curious, open-minded, and results focused professional with exceptional interpersonal skills. Communicates effectively at all levels in an organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
