This is a Direct Hire role with our global client in Dallas, TX. They will pay $165-170k + a 25% bonus.Need a seasoned leader with vision and ability to set road maps and set best practices, compliance, security, mentor, set automation and manage and lead efficiently. Strong Cloud and Network background - prefer AWS and Azure but others are okay too. If you have strong IT infrastructure engineering knowledge as well as the leadership savvy to drive a smart team to the next level, this position offers you some very compelling opportunities. The Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related field is preferred.
  • 12+ years of dynamic IT leadership experience.
  • 7+ years’ experience functioning as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer or equivalent with responsibilities that include networking, architecture and management of virtualization, storage and storage networking products.
  • Extensive collaboration experience and demonstrated success working with developers.
  • Extensive experience with cloud-based infrastructure like Azure, AWS, Oracle, and Google Cloud.
  • Solid technical skills to investigate and the ability to simplify technical concepts to communicate with non-technical colleagues.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools.

The RoleWe are a hands on team that is passionate about what we do. Reporting to the VP - IT Engineering and Operations, you will join our Global IT Engineering and Operations Team. You'll work closely together with our global IT stakeholder to implement and maintain high quality, customer-focused solutions.You'll be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and operations of all technology infrastructure. As such, we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated leader with experience managing multiple disciplines who isn’t afraid to propose outside-the-box solutions to deliver a best in class experience to our stakeholders. You will be required to make technical decisions and work closely with cross-functional business areas.More specifically, you will:
  • Direct and lead the IT Engineering network, systems, and voice & collaboration teams that provide core services to all employees.
  • Mentor and develop a high-visibility team that is responsible for implementing mission critical items, often with competing priorities
  • Serve as an internal change agent to drive business process improvements and innovation.
  • Partner with leadership and IT Architecture to establish a robust information technology roadmap and a vision for technology infrastructure.
  • Explain complex technical issues in a way that anyone can understand.
  • Standardize and improve the service catalog offerings across the enterprise.
  • Partner with executive leadership to form annual budget; responsible for ensuring team maintains a fiscally responsible posture and recommend off cycle allocations in the instance of unforeseen circumstances.
  • Perform M&A activities as required, including due diligence assessment and integration solution implementation.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and ensure compliance with licensing and support agreements.
  • Continue to standardize and establish SLAs with technology partners and vendors.
  • Operational disciplines; Lead the Operational Excellence governance in change, incident, and problem management.
  • Partner closely with the cybersecurity team to adhere to all global governance and compliance, security and general company standards.
  • Leads the team along with internal and external audit teams to ensure compliance.
  • Proactively identify gaps, risks, and issues, leveraging your ability to navigate organizational structure and engage internal business partners to resolve areas of opportunity.
