The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team: RTX has an opening for a Director, Supply Chain Applications (Director, Business Systems and Transformation). Remote/Hybrid Opportunity. Location: Hybrid available near an RTX site . This position is responsible for leading the Supply Chain Applications (SCA) organization, which is part of the Enterprise Applications group that provides common digital solutions and services for use across the RTX company and its business units. The SCA organization is grouped with other enterprise application services such as Engineering and Technology Apps , Operations, Quality, and Aftermarket Applications, and Product Lifecycle Digital Thread Solutions into a value stream-oriented organization known as Product Lifecycle Services, which supports the end-to-end flow of products and services that RTX develops and delivers to customers.The SCA organization develops, delivers, and supports software applications that are used by thousands of personnel who perform supply chain processes for the company. These processes include material management, sales inventory and operations planning, sourcing, procurement, and supplier management.WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Provide stewardship for efficient utilization of an $20M+ annual operating budget. Deliver application services across an organization of 50+ personnel (including employees and contractors).

Design, development, testing, and implementation of enterprise-level Supply Chain applications used in corporate and business unit organizations.

Senior IT owner accountable for delivery of multiple supply chain programs and applications across RTX and Raytheon organizations

Provide reliable, secure, and predicable application support services, 24/7, for mission-critical applications used by thousands of supply chain personnel to plan and procure materials in support of product deliveries, generating revenue and company growth.

Partner with senior executives across BUs and Corporate, in Digital Technology and Supply Chain, to develop enterprise strategic priorities

Collaborate across the product lifecycle to implement a digital thread of data, models, and operations for our products, enabling improved quality, efficiency, and speed.

Travel up to 25%

In addition, as the leader of this organization, you will have the following general responsibilities:

Set the vision and direction for the organization

Drive for continuous improvements to optimize our services

Improve collaboration activities with partner organizations in applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data analytics service areas to enable improved efficiency and reduced cycle times

Provide guidance to your organization and peer teams on standard operating procedures and industry best practices for application services.

Organize learning opportunities to improve employees' knowledge and skills for future organizational growth.

Facilitate capital investments in new platform technologies through business case development and prioritization of funding

Partner with strategic suppliers to deliver solutions and services in support of the objectives of the organization

Ensure the security and resiliency of applications through continuous maintenance of cybersecurity protections and technical health improvements

Manage talent acquisition, career development, mentoring, performance development, and succession planning for direct reports as well as skip levels across the organization

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

Minimum of 14+ years in Applications Organization Leadership and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 12+ years’ related work experience

8+ years’ knowledge of software applications that support the supply chain function (sourcing, procurement platforms, supplier quality, ratings, risk assessment, collaboration, and supplier management solutions)

8+ years’ experience knowledge of supply chain processes and supporting digital capabilities and data

Current U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contrac t

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

Organizational leadership with demonstrated skills in team leadership, talent development, talent acquisition and retention

Experience leading teams in an applications organization

Demonstrated solutions design expertise in supply chain business processes

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in financial management of a large multimillion dollar annual operating budget

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
