OverviewThe Director, Technology Delivery will lead internal / external teams in end-to-end operation, performance, and growth of Topgolf’s infrastructure, including datacenter, cloud, server, software, compute, security, and disaster recovery. The individual will ensure Topgolf infrastructure meets business needs, uptime goals and optimize ROI targets. The Director provides day-to-day leadership over an internal team highly technical experts, external managed service and consulting providers. He / she will also be accountable for input into departmental budgets, managing operating costs, technology and team performance and living out our culture – within the TI team and across the larger Topgolf organization. The role reports directly to the Senior Director of Infrastructure & Venue Technology. Periodic travel to our venues, and global offices may be required. This is a leadership role that relies on organizational influence as much as dedicated resources to achieve business outcomes.Responsibilities

Lead infrastructure associates in the execution of strategic technical projects to achieve company near and long-term goals, especially specific to infrastructure, system/network availability, infrastructure platforms, security and compliance

Implement and evolve our current cloud and infrastructure technology strategies

Support security and regulatory compliance tests and respond to requests for compliance and audits

Evaluate the impact of planned solutions on performance, monitoring and management, and infrastructure scale

Ownership over venue and Enterprise Networks, Physical Servers, Virtual Servers, Databases, and Middleware

Participate in strategic planning and roadmap development for future venue and corporate infrastructure, to maximize, cost-of-ownership, reliability, alignment to business need and operation support

Provide input into and manage operational & initative budgets to mazimize ROI and cost containment

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, required

Master’s Degree in MIS or Business Administration, preferred

12+ years Leading internal / external teams in the full-lifecycle management of technology solutions and initiatives aligned to business

12+ years Deep domain knowledge in critical infrastructure including (WAN/LAN, Servers, Compute, Identity Management and End-user compute)

10+ years Capex and Opex planning and management

6+ years Technology contract review, vendor negotiations and vendor performance

6+ years Business needs analysis, tactical/strategic planning and performance measurement

6+ years Executive business presentation for technology initiatives

6+ years Security and Disaster Recovery management related to infrastructure

Datacenter and cloud server systems (with emphasis on decentralized system)

End-user compute (with emphasis on lifecyle management, cost/needs analysis)

LAN/WAN/Telecommunications (with emphasis on high-availability, cost and service management)

Infrastructure platform operations (with emphasis on uptime, supportability and performance management)

Inter-personal communications, coaching staff, leading by influence & authority and staff development

Business communications including: executive / departmental presentation

Time management with emphasis on juggling multiple competing priorities and conflict resolution

Recruiting, hiring, and performance management of internal / external staff
