Description Scheduling Shipments: Choose the most appropriate freight solution for different types of cargo in terms of pricing, timing, and other factors.

Coordinating with Freight Carriers: This may include airlines, shipping companies, or road transportation companies, to arrange pick-up and delivery times and locations.

Tracking Shipments: Monitor the location and status of shipments going both to and from the company's facilities.

Managing Documentation: Prepare and check bills of lading, customs forms, and other documentation required for international trade.

Compliance Awareness: Understanding customs processes, local and international import and export laws and regulations. This includes filling out the necessary paperwork and advising clients on how to fill out the paperwork correctly.

Problem Solving: Act quickly to resolve any issues that arise with shipments, such as delays or damage to goods, and ensure the smooth operation of supply chain logistics.

Budget Management: Negotiating contracts and rates with shipping carriers, as well as managing logistics costs.

Client Communication: Keeping clients informed about the status of their shipments, any potential delays, and resolving any concerns they may have.

Forecasting: Predicting potential future logistics needs and making arrangements in advance to meet those needs.

Quality Control: Ensuring that all goods are properly packaged for shipping and that they meet all customs requirements.

Safety Compliance: Ensure all shipping and handling procedures comply with safety regulations to protect the safety of the goods and all personnel involved in their transport.

Reporting: Preparing and delivering reports outlining logistics operations and costs to management.

Teamwork: Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the company. Requirements
