Job Description
The DEI Program Manager is a critical team member of the Vericast People team, having the responsibility to help drive and implement our corporate DEI programs. In this role, the incumbent will play an essential role contributing to our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative. Reporting to the Head of People, this position will support any DEI initiative along with providing support and collaboration with the DEI Council and ERG teams.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and program manage inclusion and diversity initiatives and sharing results to influence change 20%
Drive program objectives through program management and define project plans 5%
Manage implement activities and develop processes, documentation and communications for program roll-out and ongoing support. 10%
Create tools, guidelines and solutions to help Vericast maintain a diverse, welcoming and connected environment 10%
In partnership with the Head of People, help to drive initiatives and utilize company resources to drive companywide opportunities to engage 10%
Ensure coordination among training schedules to educate employees and leaders on how to recognize, accommodate and appreciate individual differences and how these can be bridged back to assist in meeting Vericast business plans. 5%
Under the direction of the Head of People, provide support and collaborate with Business Leads, Recruiting, HR Talent Team and HR Business Partner colleagues to align, improve, design and deliver of the strategic DEI objectives 10%
Serves as a resource and act as a liaison with DEI Council and ERG teams 5%
Organize, promote, and moderate company-wide events that educate and create community around diversity, equity, and inclusion 10%
Partner with our Marketing and Communications functions to increase awareness of DEI activities and provide best practices on communications related to race, gender, ethnicity, age, sexuality, and ability status 5%
Participate in wider HR/People team programs under the direction of the Head of DEI and/or Head of People 5%
Create tools, guidelines, and solutions to help the organization maintain a diverse, welcoming, and connected environment 5%
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in diversity and inclusion
Impeccable interpersonal, employee-relations and communication skills; people first mentality and the ability to earn trust and credibility with employees across all levels of the organization
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Attention to detail
Excellent computer skills
Willingness and capacity to learn new tools as needed
Self-driven, proactive, energetic and creative
Demonstrated ability to manage programs
