Job Title: Dotnet Engineer III, Work Location: Plano, Texas / 100% Remote in US Temporary Assignment Length: 12 months + extension Department: 560513 - Tech Ops 340B (OM01) Job Description: 340B Engineer 3 We are searching for an experience full stack Engineer that can bring some structure, process, best practices, and mentorship to the team. This person should be sharp, analytical, action oriented, passionate individual to join the team and execute on a technical solution with minimal guidance. The Engineer should help lead the team to a test-driven development methodology, actively participate and refine in the SDLC process, help us with development of new features and solutions, End to end/unit/automated testing, able to translate code into technical documentation for support needs, and familiar with deployment / Git strategies to maximize team's efficiency. Our goal is to deliver high quality applications, systems, and data by incorporating quality and testing efforts to include load, performance testing and auto scripting will ensure completion of quality assurance deliverables, adherence to quality and product development processes and standards, and drives on time software releases. Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a Full Stack team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain ASP.NET / MVC / C# / HTML / CSS / SQL / Cloud (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Platform, Pivotal) solutions for assigned product lines
  • Understand how Omnicell solutions meet our customers' needs and how our suite of products are used across the continuum of care
  • Lead discussions and estimations required for product release planning
  • Collaborate with software quality engineers and other cross-functional teams in all phases of testing, documentation, and training
  • Execute on a technical solution with minimal guidance, creating solution prototypes, providing top quality design, and create documentation for support and understanding of code created for each initiative
  • Work as both a developer and tester to ensure proper unit and test automations are in place and documented, create unit tests to help ensure code quality throughout the application's life cycle, and conducts code reviews for fellow team members, as required
  • Create tickets and participate in the change control/change management discussions and processes for business unit
  • Proactively assessing and mitigating project risks from the development side to ensure timelines are met
  • Adhere to software development design standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and high-quality software
  • Assist with roadmaps creation and understanding team capacity during planning, evaluate projects, develop, and update schedules. Provide expertise in assessing the LOE for development work that will lead to roadmap predictability
  • Assisting product and the developers by ensuring stories are broken down to MVP, familiar with formalized business and functional requirements and user acceptance criteria, and participate in grooming, solutioning, and estimating discussions
  • Mitigate OWASP 10 Security findings and resolve software/library inventory, version control, security updates, vulnerabilities, and building the framework for future dynamic code upgrades (agile architecture)
  • Work with Virtual Machines, Containers, be able to determine memory and CPU for API applications, service bus queue, azure functions
  • Responsible for helping the team drive and meet their quarterly team merit bonuses and KPIs
Required Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
  • Full Stack Development

  • Experience coding / testing with 3-tier application architecture
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and Version Control tools like GIT
  • Demonstrated experience implementing automated tests within a CI/CD environment
  • Good understanding of Test-Driven Development and Behavioral Driven Development strategies and approaches
  • Knowledge of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies
  • Strong data analytics, quantitative skills, problem-solving skills, comfortable navigating data-driven business environments

Basic Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science/Information Systems Management
  • 7+ years development/engineering experience
  • 3+ Full Stack Developer
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree
  • 2+ years related experience developing in the Pharmacy, Hospital/EMR, PBM, hospital revenue cycle, or 340B industry
  • Knowledge of pharmacy, prescription claims adjudication, PBM, or medical EDI data a plus
  • 5+ years as a full stack developer with strong experience using with the following: MVC, ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, REST APIs, XML, AJAX, IIS, ADO/OLEDB and strategic UI development with C# or VB
  • 5+ years using an enterprise RDBMS such as SQL Server or Oracle (Database Engines)
  • 5+ years working with Microsoft .NET with C# or VB
  • 3+ years with Test Driven Development, Unit Testing, Automated Testing, Regression, End to End testing
  • 3+ years' experience working as both a developer and tester
  • 3+ years' experience working in an agile / scrum team
  • 3+ years' experience with administrating ticketing systems preferably Azure DevOps
  • 3+ years' experience with SAAS development
  • 3+ years working with load balancers, blue/green deployments, sticky sessions, round robins
  • 3+ years working with Virtual Machines, Containers, be able to determine memory and cpu for API applications, service bus queue, azure functions
  • 3+ OWASP Knowledge of SQL injections, robbing of cookies, authentication/authorization, cross site scripting
  • 3+ Experience with JavaScript Frameworks like Angular, React, VueJS
  • Experience in using DevOps Deployment (Git) Strategies and incorporating dark features/feature toggle
  • Working creating automated pipeline, deployment artifacts, CCID (Continue Integration & Continuous Deployment)
  • Experience working with Enterprise Service Bus and Distributed Systems
  • Working with Cloud Technology such as Azure or AWS
  • Integration Service SSIS, ETL Processing
  • Datawarehouse and cube experience translating data to information (Measures/dimensions)
  • RDL, SSRS, and reporting services experience
  • Data Analytics/BI experience is a plus
  • Telerik UI experience a plus
  • Proficient in test automation tools (eg Selenium, Cypress, xUnit, Cucumber/SpecFlow)
  • Familiar with using object-databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
  • Experience with API testing tools such as SoapUI, Postman or any tool is a plus.
  • 3 years' experience with SQL Analysis building a data warehouse
  • Experience with EMR systems (EPIC, Centricity, Meditech) is a plus
  • Knowledge of EDI x12 file format, integration, and 3rd party wholesalers
  • Can utilize Power BI, Telerik, or SRSS reporting creator tools
  • Experience working with Ecommerce
  • Ability to convey ideas using diagraming techniques (UML, BPMN, or any other diagraming tool)
