What does a Program Manager do?

As an EAIT Program Manager, you are a leader responsible for driving a program of technical initiatives designed to meet our customer experience needs. You will steer the planning, execution, and delivery of IT solutions, while aligning with business & engineering teams, contributing to the larger portfolio project management discipline, and demonstrating a mastery of process and best practices. You will report to the Director of Program Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with product owners, tech leads and engineering managers to plan and deliver projects
  • Build trusted relationship with partners across multiple groups
  • Determine the resource requirements to meet project goals and establish success criteria
  • Identify and resolve risks and dependencies that may block the team
  • Complete projects using Agile development in a distributed development environment
  • Manage development tasks, and communicate progress against committed deliverables
  • Estimate the impact of change requests on plans, budget, and resources
  • Contribute to larger process insights through post-mortem reviews and knowledge sharing

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of software project/program management experience
  • Experience in multiple project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
  • Experience with distributed teams across multiple locations
  • Ability to manage the day-to-day details as well as understand overall product goals & roadmap
  • Excellent communication skills when dealing with multiple levels of stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree
