Role: eCommerce UAT Project Manager

Location: Cupertino, CA

Duration: 5+ months

3x a week hybrid in Cupertino from day 1 of being hired.

Job Summary:Seeking an experienced

Project Management professional with

strong eCommerce digital content platform knowledge to join our team. You will be an essential part of our team to evolve tools and processes to scale publishing. You will be leading cross-functional and global UAT projects of various sizes from strategic planning, scoping, development, execution to sign off.

The ideal candidate will be self-directed, comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Detail-orientation, flexibility and adaptability are key attributes to success in this role. The candidate should have strong analytical, and communication skills to handle a variety of project activities and complexities across functional teams. Candidates must be hands-on, willing to work at a detailed level, while still being able to abstract information from their work and communicate concisely to management and global cross-functional teams.

Key Qualification:
  • Industry knowledge of eCommerce ecosystems with extensive working experience in mid to large-scale eCommerce systems (content and product data systems)
  • Strong project management skill in managing UAT through-out project phases to ensure system implementations are in compliance with business requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with insightful analysis to comprehend, troubleshoot, structure and communicate complex processes or problems
  • A self-starter capable of taking initiatives on multiple tasks and thriving in a high pace and ambiguous working environment
  • Strong ability to organize projects and communicate project status to global audiences at various levels with different background
  • Experience in various software development methodologies: Agile, waterfall or hybrid.

Description

: You will partner with business community and engineering to understand digital content management operations and define testing strategies and framework for authoring tools and processes. You will lead the effort in user acceptance test across functional teams. You will be driving UAT and end to end tests in an integrated environment of multi-applications from planning, design and development to execution and communication. This involves:
  • Knowing the specialists, your customers, their authoring tools and their operational processes
  • Working effectively with cross-functional teams: specialists, Product Management, Development, QA and deployment teams.
  • Defining best-in-class testing strategies and framework to qualify authoring apps that promote scalability, smart production practices, and intuitive UI. You will be driving UAT planning (strategy, process, resource, schedules, environment data in consideration of inter-dependencies and downstream impact), UAT design (test cases, test scripts, test data development), UAT execution (issue triage, troubleshoot and prioritization), UAT status report communication, and UAT sign off
  • You are: a quick learner, self-directed , organized and details oriented, articulate, passionate about quality assurance, willing to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty with the messy world of working with users and solving their pain
  • You can: listen, evangelize smart solutions and processes, communicate effectively to senior management regarding risks/benefits of solution options, write and own documentations, bridge the communication between technical and business teams
  • You know: Web technologies/web production, E-commerce, content management and product information management applications

Education:
  • BA/BS degree required
  • MS, MBA, PMP considered a plus
  • Certification in quality assurance and tools a plus
