Job Title: Electrical Engineer - MEP (PE)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our MEP Engineering Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing lighting and power construction drawings and specifications, coordinating with mechanical engineers/designers, running load calculations, and reviewing shop drawings and submittals.Responsibilities
Design lighting and power systems for both new construction and renovations.
Create plans and schematics, perform calculations necessary for equipment selections, and provide systems narratives and specifications.
Create and detail panel schedules, one-line diagrams, risers, and lighting fixture schedules.
Review drawings for quality control.
Perform field investigations and construction administration.
Provide company representation at owner/architect/contractor meetings.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer or EIT License
1-2 years of experience in the design of commercial/office/retail/industrial facility projects
Experience with AutoCAD
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience
Experience in the design of commercial, retail, light industrial, medical office, education, and emergency power systems
Ability to produce lighting plans, power plans, photometric plans, and specifications
Experience with AutoCAD & AutoCAD MEP
Proficiency in Revit, MEP design, and MEP engineering
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $46.00 - $65.00/hr.
