Date Posted:2023-05-12Country:United States of AmericaLocation:TX005: Building 11005 Fort Bliss Building 11005 Biggs Army Airfield, Fort Bliss, TX, 79908 USAPosition Role Type:OnsiteRaytheon Technologies is seeking successful Solder-certified Technician/Operator to perform any combination of the following tasks in support of the production/rework/repair of various product lines including (but not limited to) electronics box assemblies, RF electronics, high-power distribution assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, cable/harness assemblies, electronics rack-mount systems/chassis, circuit card assemblies, and other similar-complexity assemblies. Performs Solder rework of failed electrical assemblies Reads/interprets assembly drawings in a manufacturing/rework environment towards the rework/repair of failed assemblies as well as new production Candidate must have a current (or previously held) certification for IPC-JSTD 001 and IPC WHMA-A-620 involving solder and cable harness rework, respectively Works closely with Engineering, Test Technicians, and Quality Assurance Inspection personnel on unit repairs and production Maintains control of all Electro-static Sensitive (ESD) precautions and processes. Strong work ethic and self-motivation - with strong emphasis on meeting deliverable schedulesRequirements: 4 years applicable experience ideally in a solder rework environment Strong soldering/rework and drawing interpretation skills Significant knowledge of the use of soldering/rework/repair equipment and tooling Strong Work Ethic and self-motivation Must be a US Citizen with the ability to attain a Secret Security Clearance in the near future Good communication skillsDesired Skills: Computer Navigation Skills Current (or previously held) certification for IPC-J-STD 001 and IPC WHMA-A620 involving solder and cable harness reworkRequired Education (including Major): High School Degree or equivalentRaytheon Technologies is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
