- Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies firmware (e.g., DSP, embedded code, BIOS). Work often involves analog and digital hardware and real-time operating systems.
- Experience designing and developing embedded controller firmware; prefer Keil IDE and ARM experience
- Knowledge of PC overall architecture and firmware interaction with hardware designs
- Designing and integrating firmware into overall architecture and hardware design across multiple platforms
- Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels.
- Must be experienced with C and Python
- Strong Embedded systems background
- Experienced with multi-thread RTOS architecture
- PC architecture background preferred
- Experienced with debug tools (i.e. logic analyzer)
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
