Position: Energy Components Developer/AnalystLocation: Houston, TX or Bartlesville, OKOnsiteDirect Client PositionJOB DESCRIPTION:The Energy Components Developer/Analyst position supports the operation and configuration of multiple global instances of the Energy Components application. This is a business-facing position and provides the opportunity to work directly with international groups in Australia, Canada, Indonesia, Norway, and the United Kingdom that are involved with hydrocarbon production volume management and revenue accounting. aria-hidden="true" The Energy Components application is a configurable software package that supports production volume management using a Java based front-end and an Oracle database back-end. If you are selected as the Energy Components Developer/Analyst, you will develop Oracle database objects that configure the operation of the application. You will create interfaces from/to other application (e.g., Informatica, Unix, Business Objects, etc.) that provide data to or present information from Energy Components. There could be opportunities to utilize Java, Fortran, and C# skills as well. This position can be based in Bartlesville, OK or Houston, TX. aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" Your Responsibilities may include: aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" • Providing 24x7 technical support for multiple globally disperse instances of the Energy Components application aria-hidden="true" • Diagnosing and resolving general or system level problems aria-hidden="true" • Developing Oracle database objects and configuring the Energy Components application aria-hidden="true" • Creating and working ServiceNow Incidents, Tasks, Demands, and Change Requests aria-hidden="true" • Crafting and updating process documentation aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" Basic/Required: aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee aria-hidden="true" • 3+ years of Information Technology experience aria-hidden="true" • 3+ years of relational databases object development experience (Oracle preferred) – understand structure and syntax, ability to create and modify objects (e.g. queries, views, packages, procedures, etc.) aria-hidden="true" • Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to provide day-to-day application support and after-hours callout on a rotational basis aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" Preferred: aria-hidden="true" • 5+ years of experience developing Oracle relational databases objects aria-hidden="true" • 2+ years of experience using TOAD for Oracle aria-hidden="true" • 2+ years of experience with Java programming aria-hidden="true" • 2+ years of experience with the Energy Components application (optional) aria-hidden="true" • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products aria-hidden="true" • Methodical and analytical approach to problem solving aria-hidden="true" • Ability to collaborate and communicate efficiently and clearly, both verbally and via email, with diverse international groups to achieve business goals aria-hidden="true" • Ability to multi-task and easily switch/resume tasks in a team environment aria-hidden="true" • Ability to independently prioritize and coordinate activities with a focus on details aria-hidden="true" • Responsible to take ownership of actions and deliver on commitments aria-hidden="true" • Act independently and deliver positive results through realistic planning and execution to accomplish goals aria-hidden="true" • Build effective solutions based on available information and make timely decisions that are safe and ethical This is a 2-month project to back fill someone that is out of the office for 2 months.
