Cyber, Electronic Warfare, and Space (CEW&S) is looking to hire a Network Engineer position to support our DANS team in our San Antonio, TX location. This position is responsible for working with application developers, Systems Integration Lab (SIL) system administrators, test engineers, range technicians, and network/virtualization architects to develop and implement solutions as part of the Networking & Architecture team. These network engineering solutions support infrastructure for the development, integration, and testing of the mobile, deployable, and garrison Cyberspace Vulnerability Assessment-Hunter (CVA-H) platforms and administration of operational network systems to support the program.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Experience with TCP/IP, CISCO, and Dell switches and routers • Experience engineering, implementing, and managing VPNs, and firewalls • Experience designing, implementing, and testing networking solutions on hardware and software-defined networking solutions • Experience working with stakeholders to analyze network requirements • Experience applying NIST standards and STIGs to secure network configurations • Experience configuring and maintaining cloud-based systems • Familiarization with engineering and implementing network solutions for cloud and hybrid applications • Familiar with Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 • Familiar with out-of-band management for network devices and servers

Minimum Qualifications

• BS Degree with 10-15 years relevant experience, MS Degree with 8-10 years relevant experience, HS with 15+ years relevant experience, At least 3 years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in Network Engineering. • DoD 8570/8140 Information Assurance Level II (IAT II) Certification o CompTia Security+ CE or equivalent • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent

• Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI Eligibility

Preferred Requirements

• CCNP - Enterprise • CCNP - Security • SANS Certifications • Experience with COTS or open-source Network Security Monitoring Solutions or the Air Force's Cyber Vulnerability and Hunt Weapons System • Experience engineering and implementing networks to support Vdi environments • Experience with VMWare (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, Vdi) • Familiarization with Jira, Confluence, Bro/Zeek, Suricata, and Moloch • Familiarization with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Scrum • Familiar with AWS services and design best practices • AWS Solutions Architect: Associate • Demonstrate experience transitioning new, and legacy applications to an AWS production environment. • Experience with the implementation of the Rancher Kubernetes management stack to deploy containers and Kubernetes within the AWS Cloud production environment.
