GDH Consulting has partnered with an energy client in the Houston area needing an engineering tech specialist to assist project engineers with technical administrative tasks such as material validation and coordination, welding procedure and hydrostatic test documentation, as well as document control. style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" Responsibilities: style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" Coordinates with other departments in the implementation of the overall objective of efficient project execution. style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" Assists pipeline and facility projects by preparing welding procedure and hydrostatic test documentation and performing quality assurance on material orders. style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" Advises and supports engineering in the status of deliverables. style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" Apply skills and concepts to ensure data integrity, data reliability, and data accessibility throughout the group. style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" Responsible for organizing and updating production information as data is received. style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" Compiling data, communicating, and providing information to engineers. style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of available data applicable to business requirements. style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" Assisting with regulatory correspondence as needed. style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" Other related duties as assigned. style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" All duties are to be performed in accordance with Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines. style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" Any associate who drives a company or personal vehicle for Company business must possess a valid driver licenses and follow all guidelines that are outlined in the Company's Fleet Policy. style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" Skills: style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts. style="font-size: 13.3333px; font-family: Arial, Verdana;" Demonstrate basic computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer including Microsoft Office applications.
