Description We are offering an opportunity to be part of our team as an Attorney/Lawyer in the non-profit industry, based in Dallas, Texas. The role involves handling legal cases, interacting with multicultural populations, and ensuring compliance with specific grants. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Key responsibilities: Review and process legal documentation accurately and efficiently Interact and communicate effectively with multicultural populations Litigate cases as required, drawing on previous litigation experience Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey legal advice and information Use computer literacy and experience with MS Office suite of products to maintain accurate records and organize workload Review work completed by case managers and staff before filing Prepare the program for annual audits and monitor visits by reviewing all case files and documentation Monitor and ensure compliance with program-specific grants Leverage skills in Immigration Law, Litigation, and Family Law to handle relevant cases Display bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to communicate with diverse clients. Requirements Must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Current license to practice law in the state of Texas Proven experience in the non-profit sector Expertise in Immigration Law, Litigation, and Family Law Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of clients, staff, and volunteers High level of professional ethics and integrity Willingness to keep updated with changes in law and non-profit regulations Proficiency in legal research software and case management systems Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
