What Your Team Does - Developer Services is responsible for strategy, engineering and delivery of central developer tools that underpin Software Development including:
- Code editors/IDEs
- Source code version control
- ALM platforms
- Build/CI
- Binary repositories and dependency management
- Code quality
- Vulnerability scanning and others.
- This is a global team that provides architectural and development support to all development groups across the company as well as being involved in developing strategic enterprise shared services solutions used by the Investment Bank, Consumer Bank, and Corporate businesses
Your MISSION (if you choose the accept):Deliver modern CI/CD pipelines as part of the team designing, building, and running end-to-end developer pipeline tools servicing the firms thousands of developers.Design and build self-service developer tools with modern controls and functionality that help the firm transform their practices.You will evaluate and provide technical solutions to solve a variety of complex and interdependent processes and application integrations The Skills That Will Get You THERE (please come with experience!): Development Background (Systems Solutions Design) BitBucket/GIT a plus Java/J2EE or Python SQL (Oracle, Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB) OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker Knowledge on AWS products (EC2, S3) a plus CI tools (Jenkins, TeamCity) Windows Security (LDAP, Active Directory) a plus Hands-on Linux/Unix platforms development Build tools (maven, gradle, SBT) a plus If you've made it this far I'd assume you are interested, and chances are you have at least enough of these skills for a conversation.Always remember, the worst that can happen is you walk away from a 30 minute conversation with a handshake and a "Good luck with everything!"
