Our Client is seeking a highly skilled, dependable, and safe executive protection driver with law enforcement experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Houston, TX area, possess security and technical driving training/experience and have the ability/flexibility to respond to executive transportation needs on short notice. The driver will utilize a company-leased vehicle, which will be stored at the company’s HQ location in Houston. The driver will pick up the vehicle from the HQ location and return the vehicle to the HQ location after duties are completed for the day working Mondays-Fridays. Tasks Will Include:

Safely transport executives to various destinations in a safe and timely manner, while complying with local, state, and federal laws.

Utilize in-depth knowledge of the Houston area to optimize and plan/run routes, to include for emergencies, (i.e. routes to hospitals, relocation points, etc.) and avoiding traffic delays and other unusual or irregular conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.

Conduct trip/event advances and coordinate transportation logistics with members of the Executive Protection team.

Ensures privacy/confidentiality of our executives and their communications and maintains sensitive and confidential personal and company information.

Maintains company vehicle and related executive protection equipment, including but not limited to cleanliness, general maintenance and record of service, ensuring that warranty issues and insurance issues are managed and reporting any issues with the vehicle in a timely fashion.

Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively and to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.

Required Experience:

7 years of experience in local, state, federal law enforcement.

2 years of professional driving experience.

Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of the Houston, TX metropolitan area.

Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.

This will be an onsite contract of 12 months and if eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
