Summary As a Experienced C/Unix Programmer Analyst at Gainwell, you will be a part of an innovative healthcare technology company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities. You will use your programming and analytical skills to drive the development of healthcare administration products used, and relied upon, by millions of patients. Your role in our mission Take a close look at some of the details that contribute to Gainwell's industry-leading tools and technologies in this challenging position.- Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately complex programs
- Analyze, design and write specs and reqs from which we develop and code programs
- Evaluate existing systems and programs; assist project the manager in assigning tasks and work closely with a team
- Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects, validate program requirements and resolve issues that arise
- Develop test plans and participate in QA activities such as coding reviews. Participate as a member of a development team and lead a small sub-team of developers as needed
- 10 or more years of experience programming or testing experience working with relevant programming languages, relational databases, operating systems and software
- Knowledge of relevant programming languages, design principles and the end-to-end software development life cycle, and experience in C/Unix, SQL, SDLC experience, and client facing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for the design, creation and testing of programs
- Strong written and oral communication skills to work effectively with team members, support personnel and clients
- Experience in Healthcare is greatly preferred.
