For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.Are you ready to go beyond?F135 Field Operations is seeking a Lead Field Service Engineer (FSE) to serve supporting both the F-35 Final Assembly & Checkout (FACO) and Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul & Upgrade (MROU) operations Fort Worth, Texas. This is a working lead position.Key Responsibilities:

Be the focal point for the F135 FSE team, coordinating and assigning F135 propulsion system support activities within the FTW FSE team in support of Lockheed Martin.

Coordinate with FTW Maintenance Manager for all technician work center events.

Work closely and collaborate with internal P&W teams (Customer Support Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Center, ALIS teams) to assist FSEs in resolution of emerging issues and maintain flexibility to resolve constantly changing priorities.

Provide mentorship and career development to your team to reach their career growth potential and effectiveness, drive engagement within the team.

Ensure training and administrative requirements are accomplished by their assigned employees within established timelines.

Ensure management actions are accomplished in a timely manner, to include approving expense reports, time & attendance, and performance evaluations.

Manage FSE Calendar to ensure on-site support is consistently provided.

Provide updates to MERLINs and FAM Tool as required.

Ensure key delivery metrics are tracked and measured, taking appropriate actions to meet program objectives.

Support Government Property Management processes for program execution, to include but not limited to Support Equipment (SE), tooling, supply and government processes.

Work directly with P&W Customer Support Engineering in addressing technical questions regarding Action Request (AR) submissions.

Use initiative and judgment to identify problems, conduct investigations to determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Participate and contribute to P&W Site overall compliance objectives to include Global Trade Compliance (GTC), Quality initiatives (CORE), & Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S).

Some Travel may be required to backfill FSEs both domestic and internationally. This is estimated as less than 10% travel

This position is on-site and based at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Fort Worth, TX

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering/technical field, plus appropriate experience required.

A minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in engine/aircraft maintenance, logistics, logistics support, supply chain management, or support equipment management required.

At least 3 years of Leadership, Supervisory and Management experience required.

US Citizenship is required due to government contracts.

Must be able to obtain or maintain security clearance.

Must be able to support occasional off-shift coverage and/or extended hours.

Must have a minimum of one year in current role (if internal).

Preferred Qualifications

Possess Excellent leadership skills, Judgment, and Professional Maturity

Possess great strength in presentation skills, communication skills, self-motivation, and computer skills.

Strong desire to succeed and pursue personal growth and developmental opportunities.

Experience in F-35/F135 production, flight test, customer support, maintenance, and/or program management.

Prior military service in maintenance/logistics also a plus
