Facilities Project Coordinator
Description:We are looking for a Facilities Project Coordinator for a long-term contract to drive and manage facilities projects within multiple clients across the Austin TX area.Schedule: Hybrid (Remote & On-site): 60-70% on-site for initial 30 – 60 days to learn the environment and build relationships with internal / external business partners. Will transition to 30-50% on-site moving forward to meet the business needs of the clients. At times, after hours and weekend work may be required based on project scope and deadlines.Responsibilities:The Facilities Project Coordinator will be responsible for engaging business partners within each organization to ensure each project scope is well defined and the needed work is completed according to schedule. All projects will have an information technology component, a facility component, and operational impacts component. Due to the nature of the business minimizing impacts to operations is highly important. Collaborating and continuous communication with project stake holders is also highly important to ensure their operational plans are not impacted.- Attention to detail, good writing skills, and experience with risk and issue management.
- Must demonstrate through past work experience flexibility and adaptability.
- Experience with project timelines, coordinating with vendors, tracking and communicating with project business partners, and proven ability to manage critical deadlines.
- Experience working with public entities is preferred
- Experience working on projects related to a facility operations.
- Collaboration and communication with numerous teams is key to success for this position and candidates with previous experience working on projects involving multiple teams are preferred.
