They install, repair, maintain and troubleshoot production and building equipment. Maintenance associates perform preventive maintenance throughout facility. The maintenance team is responsible or completing assigned projects throughout the facility as defined by management.Job Specifications

Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment

Perform service and repair work as designated in profitable and proper manner. Record productive time versus travel time.

Perform tasks in a timely manner and report any incomplete tasks and justifications for not completing.

The technician is responsible for checking in with the lead or supervisor upon completion of a specific task when there is not another task assigned.

The technician should not make any changes in a given plan without notifying the supervisor. It is the responsibility of the technician to not leave tasks incomplete without supervisor approval.

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments

Perform preventive maintenance work

Maintain accurately all work records and parts used at each job in accordance with established procedure.

Maintain records in emaint system related to daily tasks, accurately reporting time spent, documenting issues to support lengthy periods of time to complete tasks.

Keep manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised.

Responsible for facility improvement including safety projects

Troubleshoot problems by developing plan of action, estimating labor time, and job materials. Assist in development and administration of preventive maintenance program

Plan, install, repair, and maintain productions and building equipment.

Keep work area clean and safe. Remove any objects from the work area upon completion that do not belong in that area.

Keep all tools and equipment organized and in their proper place at all times.

Use necessary and required PPE at all times. It is the responsibility of the technician to wear proper PPE and to report lack of any PPE needed for any task requiring safety equipment.

Willingness and ability to be trained and operate an electric cart, fork lift, and scissor lift at minimum.

Follow all safety guidelines set by EHS at all times.

Maintain a clean and safe work area including maintenance cart and any equipment operated

Other duties as assigned

Employee Specifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required

2 years prior experience in the Electrical, Mechanical field a plus

Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and plumbing

General knowledge of Distribution Center layout

Certification to drive forklifts, electrically powered cart, and willingness to train and certify on the scissor lift

Proven ability to work safely with above average accuracy

Strong oral and written communication skills

Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently

Ability to lift up to 45 pounds independently

Basic Computer Skills

Must be able to work any shift including weekends and Holidays as needed
