Overview: Primarily working on the road this role is expected to maintain, repair and overhaul farm equipment and vehicles such as, tractors, trucks, forklifts, brush shredders, spray equipment, and other mechanically, electrically or motor driven equipment on farms and in farm shops. Examines equipment for defects and dismantles defective equipment using hand tools. Repairs or replaces defective units using hand and power tools.Here is what you’ll doPerform all tasks in a safe manner. Maintains shop and equipment in good safe efficient conditions, with special care to critical equipment.Insures that all farm machinery is serviced and maintained on a routine schedule and kept in good operational order.Inspects, tests, adjusts, and repairs as needed, all equipment and rolling stock on a regular basis, as required by management.Maintains service and repair records.Keeps shop Supervisor informed of equipment conditions, upcoming maintenance schedules, and other pertinent equipment information.Maintaining and servicing company vehicleTool accountability75% of the work time will be performed road service   All other duties as assigned by supervisor
