Primary Job Functions:Perform field service work on-site within USA, and occasionally in Canada, Mexico, and South America (commissioning, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, and repair)Primary responsibility will be maintenance of chute recovery systems.Alternate responsibility will be to provide support to conveyor recovery systems. Provide consultation to customer’s plant systems (ex: subsystems that input material to our chute systems, subsystems which receive material from our chute systems, etc.)Provide support (incl. remote support) to clients regarding technical issues and sorter performance, etc.Provide detailed field reports after every customer visit or technical interventionTimely reporting of activities, costs and other reportingProvide training regarding customer maintenance to service personnel on site as well as TOMRA Service EngineersPrepare and review onsite service visits and assist service sales offersProvide on-call technical phone support and field response to equipment and customer issuesProvide support to Sales and Project ManagementEnsure the TOMRA Sorting Systems in the field is up to par in order to satisfy customers/clientsGeneral field service work/optimizationEnsure effective field service work in terms of costs and timingAct positively and remain customer orientedWork with technical team to ensure sufficient documentation is maintainedManage and control tools, test equipment, technical documentation and other assigned equipmentMentor junior level Field Support Engineers both technically and administrativelyPerform on-call, standby duty and travel as neededFeedback to other departments (service / clients)Give ideas about improvement possibilities (quality/efficiency/profitability)
