Field Service SupportAs a Field Service Support here at Honeywell, you will provide technical support and assistance to our field service team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our field service operations and the satisfaction of our customers. Your problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be essential in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you'll work out of our designated location on an hourly work schedule. As a Union Journeyman Fitter/Welder, you are responsible for the layout, assembly, installation, and repair of HVAC systems, Hydronic Systems. Installs these systems according to specifications and appropriate trade and building codes. These systems may consist of pipes, fittings, piping systems, fixtures and equipment for heating, cooling, gas, steam, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial processing systems. Must be able to cut, lay out, weld and assemble pipe and structural assemblies. Must be able to install quality work and have working knowledge of piping systems. Maintains the work area in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Maintains required tools, and properly uses all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment. Perform a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, which may include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights when applicable.How you will do it: Cut, assemble, weld, install, and lay out pipe Bevel and thread pipe Install pipe supports Install valves and instruments Material handling Operate lifts and other equipment Must be able to work with: Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Copper, PVC, PolypropyleneIn this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our field service operations, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
