Position Description:What You Will DoPerform work related to locating company pipelines and no access activities.Perform pipeline locating using conductive, inductive and mark by measurement.Complete Line locating and One Call procedures with supervisor direction.Inspect, calibrate, maintain, and/or repair line location tools and equipment.Drive and maintain company vehicle.Follow company, State, and Federal Motor Vehicle Laws.Conduct detailed damage investigations in response to pipeline damage events and assist first respondersServe as a readily available resource to line locators and excavators across TGS foot print.Assist adjacent internal departments in accurately clarifying facility location(s) for engineering/budgeting’s sake.Utilize a multitude of company records and GIS resources.Maintain accurate mapping records and escalate correctionsPerform Watch & Protect duties in vicinity of high-profile facilities.Perform QA/QC Audits of line locates performed across TGS footprint.Effectively and proactively communicate with excavators on varying jobsites. Intervene high-risk excavators as deemed fit.Maintain comprehensive documentation across multiple database systems and software/programs.Report Abnormal Operating conditions:

Complete near surface markers and simple installations.Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.What You Will NeedPreferred H.S. Diploma Preferred high school diploma and the following workKnowledge of:
Company and governmental operating/safety procedures
Basic customer service activities
Changing charts
Locating lines
Characteristics of natural gas
Intermediate knowledge and training related to:
Company and governmental operating/safety procedures
State damage prevention laws
Knowledge of hazardous atmosphere/ standard 1518.
Experience in use, function, maintenance, and repair of damage prevention tools and equipment.Experience in reading and interpreting maps, blueprints, plats, atlas pages, diagrams, dials, gauges, work logs, job orders, and applicable operation and repair manuals.Minimum Applicable driver's license.Lift or move objects weighing up to 10 pounds 50 60 times a day; up to 20 pounds 3 5 times a day.Travel over uneven terrain including but not limited to:
Mud
Gravel
Sand
Rocks
Ice
Snow
