Job Description: Approved Meta Remote Locations: remote with ATX budget of Austin, Houston Baltimore, Boston, LA, and San Diego are remote options but can only provide candidates the C market bill rate Summary: The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients. Job Responsibilities: Join the team that supports FP&A organization on core financial operations. Responsible for the day-to-day operations to help Finance to scale. Own the monthly/quarterly close process. Prepare and submit accruals and reclass journal entries, perform actuals reconciliation with budget, own the variance analysis and review P&L daily during close periods to ensure financial data accuracy. Conduct headcount, operating expense, and capital expenditure reporting. Reconcile between reports and system outputs, ensuring 100% accuracy across all deliverables. Meet all internal financial reporting requirements Act as the primary finance reviewer for all PO and Contractor requests. Ensure all coding is accurate and funding within budget. Need to work closely with Procurement to ensure smooth procure-to-pay processes. Need to work closely with Business Partners to ensure correct coding and within budget. Primary POC to support Business Partner questions related to finops (POs, T&E, policy, etc). Assist or own quarterly forecast cycles and annual budget planning. Set up templates and be responsible for Hyperion data loads Meet regularly with FBP Finance Managers to understand work intake and to review work output Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including Accounting, Enterprise Engineering, Source-to-Pay, and HR Skills: 2+ years accounting or financial experience Experience learning new systems/tools and proactively look for opportunities to create operational efficiencies with existing processes Experience building working relationships with Finance leadership/managers from remote location Detail oriented and experience working closely with Accounting teams to ensure tight controls during close Experience working and problem solving independently, organizing workload and priorities, and completing tasks on time Experience with building financial models in Excel to automate reporting Experience with Excel / Google Sheets, PPT / Google Slides Experience with Financial Tools/Systems Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent field KEY Note- needs to have at least 7 hands on YEO and within this have 2+ years accounting or financial experience. Ideal profiles- experience at large companies, accounting analyst or manager titles, finance analyst or manager title/experience. Can action high volume needs and tasks. Any certifications in accounting or finance is a nice to have. Interview process- 2 rounds, 1 with CWAM and 1 with an additional FTE Comments for Suppliers: KEY Note- needs to have at least 7 hands on YEO and within this have 2+ years accounting or financial experience.
