Impacts operational procedures and practices throughout the institution.Key Job ResponsibilitiesFinancial Compliance & Regulatory:
Responsible for monthly reconciliation of revenue, personnel expenses, and the certification of STAT sampling according to the institutional policies and procedures. Maintains controlling records required to ensure accuracy of all data reconciled. Participates in reviewing and auditing assigned transactions and recommends solutions to problems which arise in the daily course of business. Review monthly ProCard reconciliation for accuracy according to guidelines mandated by General Accounting. Performs monthly comprehensive review of GL for revenue and expense transactions to ensure the accuracy of posted transactions and provide variance analysis as needed. Interacts with all levels of personnel within the division, as well as other institutional department to resolve problems/errors of questions regarding basic accounting reconciliation items. Maintains financial records in compliance with all institutional, departmental, and governmental regulations and policies.Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Responsible for financial and operational reports for the Enterprise Radiation Oncology (TMC & HALs). Responsibilities include but not limited to preparation of the monthly Income Statements, Revenue Reconciliation report, KPIs report, FTE Trend report, Finance Billing Dashboard, and Denial Management Dashboard. Assists in preparing the monthly Enterprise RO Financial package. Prepares pro-forma and KPI's for staffing requests, new programs, and capital equipment requests. Maintains a working knowledge of Epic Universe, PeopleSoft OBIEE, and Financial & Supply Chain.Financial and departmental support:
Monitors, tracks, and analyzes all technical and professional charge capture activities. Audits technical and professional activities for the purposes of identifying missed revenue opportunities. Provides support as needed for placing procurement requests and creating PO's. Provides other departmental support as identified by the Supervisor. Provides assistance and timely follow up to Department staff on various funding and accounting related issues. Provides training if needed on proper procedures and guidelines of submittal of reimbursements, deposits, transfers, and documentation.Other accounting duties as assigned:
Other accounting functions include but not limit to new fund request, CFS inactivation, invoice preparation, and CAT/FACT table maintenance.
