Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the field of financial analysis. The role is based in La Porte, Texas, where the successful candidate will work within the financial sector. As a Financial Analyst, the successful candidate will be responsible for multiple accounting functions, including balance sheet reconciliations, cost transfer requests, and payroll accruals. Responsibilities: Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and complete Manage cost transfer requests to ensure proper allocation of financial resources Oversee payroll accruals by maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely processing Prepare and update provision files to support financial decision-making Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards Assist in budget processes by preparing budget templates and providing financial insights Generate various reports such as cost center expense reports, CAPEX status reports, and WIP/backlog reports Handle heavy journal entries to maintain financial data accuracy Manage quarterly SMI reconciliations and freight clearing to ensure proper accounting procedures Utilize accounting software systems and CRM to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Requirements Possession of a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Financial Analyst role or similar position. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services. Demonstrated experience with SAP, CRM, Crystal Reports, and Data Mining Techniques. Strong understanding of Accounting Functions, Accrual Accounting, Auditing, Budget Processes, and Capital Management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis. Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments.
