Financial Application Developer

Job Title: Financial Applications DeveloperWork Location: The Woodlands, TXDuration: 6 month contract-to-hireEducation/Experience Required: Applications programming experience including SQL, Python, and JavaScript; preferably building financial products or utilizing JD Edwards Financials;

• Design, develop, and maintain financial applications using SQL, Python, and JavaScript
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions to meet their needs
• Collaborate with other developers and support teams to ensure that applications are reliable and meet performance and security requirements
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards
• Provide technical support to end-users as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of experience in financial application development using SQL, Python, and Java
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with Python language and libraries related to Financial Applications and Reporting
• Familiarity with JavaScript and relevant libraries
• Experience with JD Edwards Financials would be a big PLUS
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
