Summary You will be responsible for design/development and implementation of instrumentation systems which carry out calibration & performance validation of Wireless Charging systems.

Description Candidate will work with a team of cross functional engineers to develop and deploy mass production friendly solutions for clients products. These solutions include stations with scientific instrumentation, software, and algorithms used to calibrate and test those products. Starting from the first prototyping phase towards the final engineering validation phase of the product, work with industry talent and multi-functional colleagues to define test coverage, develop calibration algorithms and specifications, before packaging and handing over the validated solution to the operations team for mass-production.

Key Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Electromagnetic technologies
  • Solid knowledge in electrostatics and magnetics (familiarity with touch sensors and/or wireless charging technology is a plus)
  • Knowledge on the material properties affecting electromagnetic circuits
  • Hands-on fluency in finite elements simulations (COMSOL experience is a big plus)
  • Familiarity with CAD design software (NX is a plus)
  • Analytical skills to process volume data using tools like Excel / Matlab / JMP
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills; clear communication with diverse teams
  • EE, BS Physics, Applied Physics Degree

Location: San Diego, CA , Austin, TX preferred, Bay Area ok (hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite / 2 days offsite)
