Is that you?Sign On Bonus for Eligible New HiresWork location: 1000 Flower Mound Road Flower, Mound TX 75028Work hours: Full Time (40 Hour) Day ShiftMonday through Friday from 8:00A- 5:00PSign-on bonus: for eligible CMA Floats (eligible upon hire with a signed retention agreement)Travel: To surrounding clinics in Flower Mound and DentonHeart And Vascular Clinic Highlights:· Be a part of our clinic that offers the opportunity to strengthen your skills by working with our Providers and Staff in a rewarding, educational environment· If you thrive working in a fast paced, multi provider clinic and can handle multiple projects simultaneously, this is the place for you!· Join our team members who have strong work ethic, positive attitudes, and support each other through collaborative teamworkHere’s What You Need· High School Diploma or Equivalent required· 1 year Medical Assistant experience within the last three years required· CMA - Certified Medical Assistant upon hire required And· ACLS or BCLS upon hire preferred· Cardiology Specialty experience preferred· NCT- Non-Certified Radiologic Technician training may be required upon hire preferredSkills & Abilities· Ability to perform EKGs, draw blood, and administer injections as needed by assigned clinic· Ability to effectively communicate to staff and patients· Demonstrated knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures· Thorough knowledge of the meaning and use of medical terminology and abbreviations· Demonstrated sound judgment and composure with the ability to take appropriate action in questionable or emergency situationsWhat You Will Do· Performs general patient care by following established standards and procedures.· Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider.· Obtains and records vital signs including, but not limited to: blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem.· Administers ordered medications and/or vaccines via oral, injection, topical, rectal, ophthalmic, and/or inhalant administration.· May work in the front office as needed, as well as perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s).Additional perks of being a Texas Health Physician’s Group employee:· Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program as well as several other benefits.· At Texas Health, our people make this a great place to work every day.
