Floor Buffer

San Antonio Staffing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Buffer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various surfaces within commercial facilities. This role requires proficiency in buffing techniques, floor care, and general custodial duties to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all building occupants.

Duties

Operate buffing machines to clean and polish floors, ensuring high standards of cleanliness.

Perform routine floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, and sealing as needed.

Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to maintain carpet appearance.

Maintain cleanliness in all areas by performing general custodial duties such as dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.

Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored.

Follow safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in buffing, commercial cleaning, or custodial services is preferred.

Familiarity with environmental services practices and floor care techniques is a plus.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
