Food Manufacturing Tech - DAY shift!

Our client is a contract food manufacturer of salsa, sauces, marinades, drink mixes and refrigerated dips. The company is privately owned and operates a 30,000 square foot plant and warehouse in the Dallas area. They are audited by the SQF, the FDA and the Texas Department of Health and must be audit ready at all times to meet their requirements.

Join their team as an experienced maintenance mechanic/technician to be part of the team to keep all fillers, conveyors and packaging equipment operational and running.

Shift Mon-Fri 6a-4pm with occasional weekends

Responsibilities include:

Performs routine repair and maintenance work, proactive inspections and preventive maintenance on fillers, cappers, labelers, and conveyors.

Knowledge and experience with electrical equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues, including corrective adjustments, equipment set up, responding to breakdown calls and parts replacement.

Requirements

Strong background in electrical and mechanical systems

Maintenance manufacturing experience preferred.

Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance repair, multi craft repair, Pneumatic systems

Experience with centrifugal and positive displacement pumps

Deep understanding of high voltage wiring / 480v 3 phase.

Basic understanding of VFDs, AC/DC electrical systems

Tig and stick welding – Fabrication

Able to supply own tools

Use electrical testing equipment volt-ohm meter, amp meter
