Fortinet Network Engineer

We are seeking a Network Engineer with expertise in Fortigate firewall technologies to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and management of firewall rules and access control lists to ensure secure access to network resources. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Fortigate firewall technologies and security protocols, and be able to analyze and assess risks associated with changes to firewall rules. Job Description & Responsibilities :

• Manage Fortigate firewall rules and access control lists to ensure secure access to network resources
• Deploy Forti networking devices at plant sites (Routers, Switches, Access Points, and Firewalls)
• Analyze and assess risk associated with changes to firewall rules
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Operational Technology, and Regulatory Compliance teams to ensure proper firewall configurations
• Monitor firewall logs and troubleshoot firewall-related issues
• Create and maintain firewall rule documentation
• Stay up to date with the latest security threats and firewall technologies

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 5+ years of experience with Fortigate firewall administration and management
• Strong understanding of Fortigate firewall technologies and security protocols
• Ability to analyze and assess risk associated with changes to firewall rules
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
