Genuent is hiring a Frontend Developer for our direct client in Austin, TX. This is a direct hire opportunity. Qualified candidates should send their resume (Word format) to Rachel Yarbrough at As a Front End Developer, you will work to evaluate and improve our clients' user experience (internal and external). You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists on a wide range of problems. This position functions to develop and maintain the answer products (e.g. quantifications, visualizations, associations) and ensure our external customers are provided the best insights into their emissions.Responsibilities
- Writing clean, well-structured, testable components with React hooks
- Collaborating with stakeholders whenever clarification of requirements are needed
- Collaborating with backend team to define data contracts for endpoints when necessary
- Modifying existing React components
- Participating in Pull Request reviews
- Writing tests for components with Jest and Testing-Library
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Fluency in React, Redux, and TypeScript
- Experience with the following libraries and concepts:
- REST/AJAX API integration with JWT Authentication
- Material UI
- Charting technologies (plotly.js, D3)
- Basic graphic design (for website layout)
- Test-driven development
- GitHub / GitHub Actions
- Comfort in working in agile team/workflow
- Scientific data visualization
