Swoon is seeking a Full Stack Developer focused on Node, React and AWS to join a leading client in Irving, TX! - Spring and other tools would be nice to have an would make the candidate more attractive in his mind, but without the top three he wouldn't even consider them.
- Asked about Azure and google cloud- said he likely would not consider these candidates because they are so heavily focused on AWS. With this project overall they are working on not only developing the apps but also migrating them to the AWS cloud- doesn't want someone to "walk in and see AWS for the first time"
- Team is 40 people total, 7 parts of each team 5-6 people working, there are a mix of developers as well as qa analysts and engineers on each team. Working together consistently- that is why it is so important for them to be on site in the lab that they work in.
- Cloud Team- Heavy team environment overall- would NOT consider this an individual contributor position but more so a single contributor to a larger team in the big picture.
- Team environment- contractors and full-time employees are both on the team. Each team is broken up into groups of 5-10 people working on each of the projects, this one specifically will be a cloud project. He is backfilling this position as the person who previously had this position recently accepted a new position.
