Full Stack Engineer

Horn Solutions is seeking Full Stack Engineers for ongoing opportunities. We have multiple client engagements and are seeking contractors that can be remotely based within the US. The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for hands-on development of web applications and integrations. Most Full Stack Engineer roles will be 6+ month or longer assignments.

• Design & develop highly scalable APIs & infrastructure
• Contribute to architecture decisions & communicate well with other engineers
• Build beautiful applications for client's users/customers
• Collaborate with other teams including product, UX, services, support & customers as needed
• Utilize Node.js, React.js, Angular.js, Vue.js, SQL and NoSQL database, REST API, and more on a daily basis
• Work in AWS
• Work in a GNU/Linux environment
• Work in an agile-based environment using tools like GitHub and Slack

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of software engineering experience building commercial-scaled applications in the cloud
• 3+ years as a JavaScript developer including coding in React, Node, or Angular on a daily basis
• Personal drive & motivation to make a difference in a growing company
• Takes initiative in learning new things, specifically new technologies
• Interest & ability to mentor junior level developers and other team members
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
