Full time Landscaper

Ogle Landscape Department is actively seeking a hardworking team player with a positive attitude to enhance and maintain the landscaping at our properties in South Austin. Prior landscape experience is preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs planting and related activities.

Performs routine lawn maintenance, including grass cutting, lawn edging, weed pulling, and other routine lawn-maintenance activities.

Uses lawn mower and related equipment.

Provides seasonal lawn care, such as spring and fall clean-up.

Moves materials and equipment and performs related duties to assist in landscaping and hardscaping.

Digs holes and trenches and excavates for landscaping and hardscaping using picks and shovels or related equipment.

Hauls or spreads topsoil, gravel, sand, mulch, or related materials using wheelbarrows and rakes.

Hand-finishes grade, and applies seed, straw, or sod.

Maintains assigned equipment and notifies the Landscaping Supervisor of needed repairs.

Reports to work at the required time and performs duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Must be able to load equipment and materials on and off trucks and trailers.

Assist Maintenance staff on projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

We offer a competitive rate of $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on your experience.

Must have a valid Driver's License with car insurance.

Must be eligible to work in the United States.
