Functional Business Analyst with experience in the IT Industry. This is a 12 Months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in McKinney, TX. Please review the job description below.Job ID: 19-22-50015Key Responsibilities1. Strong Manufacturing/Distribution industry background SME2. Competence in requirements gathering for BI reports (preferably in the FP&A area)3. Must have experience in requirement elicitation from business stakeholders specially CFOs, CIOs, and COOs4. Must have worked with Onshore-Offshore model where part of development/technical teams are placed offshore in India5. Should be able to moderate requirement gathering workshops for understanding As-Is process and define To-Be processes6. Experience in creating epics and feature stories7. Should document the existing business process/rules/logic and To-Be requirements for building the BRD and FRD8. Responsible to assess business requirements and provide design leadership to address impact analysis to process flows, systems impact, and application impact analysis9. Gap Analysis - Business Requirements Evaluation vs. Best-in-Class practices10. Business Processes Definition – From business objectives to application process definitions11. Business Case Development and support of project estimations12. Process Definition and Business Transformation13. Experienced in waterfall, iterative, and agile methodologies14. Ability to Independently work towards a goal15. Ability to work in a relatively ambiguous environment16. Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail17. Demonstrated capability to work in a high stress, multi-project environment18. Ability to clearly document in writing very complex and highly technical business processes, features, functions, microservice operations, APIs, etc.19. Very strong verbal and written communication skills.20. Ability to listen to complex multi-party discussions and distill the conversation down to a clearly articulated document21. Academic/Experience/Competency:• MS/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.• 5+ years of experience working in a functional Business Analyst role1.
